Senator Greg Boso, P.E., our principal engineer and president of the company, is responsible for managing FCG’s investigative and forensic engineering services and continuing to expand the company’s engineering capabilities throughout the country. His engineering background includes forensic investigating, planning, design, and construction assistance for commercial, residential, and industrial development projects. In previous roles, he has been responsible for complete site development packages for public school projects, multi-family developments, and water and wastewater facilities.
During his career, Sen. Boso has provided forensic engineering investigations for construction defects, blasting damage, flood damage, storm water damage, employer’s liability, premises liability, landslides, and fires, among other losses. Since 1998, he has also provided expert witness testimony in several engineering litigation and investigation cases, developing a reputation as a skilled and knowledgeable forensic engineering expert.
Sen. Boso is a member of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE) and a board-certified diplomate in forensic engineering with a 20+-year history in investigative and forensic engineering evaluations. Sen. Boso is also a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, American Council of Engineering Companies and International Code Council. A West Virginia Senator appointed in 2015 and elected from the 11th district in 2016, Sen. Boso chaired the Senate Committee on Government Organization at the time of his resignation. He has also served with the Summersville Fire Department since 1976 holding several leadership roles and is a fire service training field instructor. He brings a lot of experience to the table and takes great pride in leading our company and engineers.
